Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:

Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.

Open Safari Preferences:

Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.

1st and 2nd Grade Teacher

Hello! My name is Charitye Jackson. This is my fourth year teaching at Newcastle ISD, although I was raised, and graduated here. I am teaching Second grade math, social studies, science, handwriting, and writing. I also teach first grade math! I attended West Texas A&M University and received a degree in Special Education. I taught special education in Dumas for four years before coming to Newcastle.
