My name is Norma Castro. I graduated from Midwestern State University with a Spanish degree with a teaching certificate. I was born and raised in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. I moved to the United States eleven years ago, and I have learned to love this wonderful country full of diversity. 

I decided to become a Spanish teacher because I love the language and the Hispanic culture.  The diversity of this country is growing every day, and I want to help my students see the beauty of the Hispanic culture just the way I see it. The purpose of my classroom is to create a positive learning environment where the students can feel free to learn and speak Spanish.
